Έξι μήνες περίπου μετά την εισβολή της Ρωσίας στην Ουκρανία, η χώρα δείχνει να αντέχει στην εισβολή, με στρατιωτική και οικονομική βοήθεια από τις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες, τις χώρες της ΕΕ και άλλους. Οι ουκρανικές δυνάμεις εξαπέλυσαν πρόσφατα αντεπιθέσεις κατά των ρωσικών στρατιωτικών δυνάμεων στα νότια και ανατολικά της χώρας.
